Understand business structures and legislative requirements within professional real estate practice, and interpret ethical standards and reputational risks. Learn methods to developing marketing and communication profiles, and prepare to work with real estate trust accounts.

Completing the Assistant Agent course makes you eligible to apply for the Certificate of Registration with NSW Fair Trading. This certificate allows you to work in a real estate agency in various roles under licensed real estate agents.

Course overview

If you’ve completed the Assistant Agent course, and are working at a NSW real estate agency, completing this skill set streamlines your path to completing the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice and obtaining a Class 2 license. Instead of having to complete CPD courses, you can complete 3 units from the CPP41419 instead and have it count as your CPD requirements for that year!

By completing the Assistant Agent’s CPD Upgrade, you’ll be 3 units closer to completing the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, becoming eligible to obtain a Class 2 licence when coupled with 1 year’s experience at an agency.
